We decided to rise the XP rates (kill and quest) to 40x for a week. Now, there are no excuses to reach 80 and and come to kick some asses in Northerend.

Our Realm actually shows satisfactory stability so, I think it is time to announce that we are no longer in a beta tests, we are official now!
We don’t need to wipe data or something… nothing was changed since the beginning and we had not so much beta testers so… I decided to let them things as they are.
Now, lets vote and gain positions. Lets promote our realm with twitter, facebook, orkut, whatever! Lets populate it!

Ah! I almost forgot!! Which mount you, beta testers do prefer? =D
Well, to start a new server is never an easy task. First of all, we need a host, then, to configure and to adjust things to have as many stability and security as possible. Once there, it’s time to have an attractive and funcional website. Wow! Now we have to face the worst part: promote, reach players in potential and convince them to come play with us. This is a pain in the ass. We have two kind of players in potential: one, are those who never played WoW before (and sometimes, any other mmo). For those, the first obstacle is ensure they are doing the right thing. I mean, to play in a private community with an Emulated server is completely different than playing in the official ones. So we guide them to the “how to play here” topic and wait for him to reach 80 so we can eat him alive until the day he finally learns how to REALLY play.
The other player in potential is that one that is unhappy in the server/community he is actually playing. This kind is normally harder to convince to give us a change because they are experienced and pro and, well, they know private servers opens and closes everyday and they don’t want to waste time. (who wants, huh?). For these players I can ensure: we are here to stay. It is our start and we need your support. And I say more! This server will always be the one you will enjoy to play. We will decide futures and confs together, in our forums.
I’m telling you this because my experience in private servers ended baddly soon or later just because GMs and Admins used to pretend to be like a god or something like that. Not here.
I hope you give us a chance and come play with us and, please, help us make a better and better server/realm day by day.

This post is for those that never heard about ManiaMMO or Ragnamania or Biali before. I’m here to introduce ourselves.
ManiaMMO is an old new project. =D It is a dream comming alive after 6 years of Ragnamania. Well, let me start from the beginning them.
Ragnamania was our first project for an online gaming community. It is still alive with its 20k users registered worldwide (but mainlly from Brazil). Yes I am Brazilian, and English there is our next-to-last language. So sorry if my English makes u sick, I am doing my best.
Where did we stop? Ah! Ragnamania! Well, we used to host Ragnarok Online private servers. We did it for five years always with more than one server. Our players enjoy the quality of our services. We r dedicated, responsable and we looove what we do. And we love to play mmo, of course.
So, we r now with a new project. ManiaMMO and we r releasing two new servers: one of world of warcraft (uhull!) and a new Ragnarok server as well. I am here to talk about the world of Warcraft one. First: I am not an idiot, if a RO server is hard to administrate, an WoW is 3x more. The game is so complex and the emulator suffers updates every day (lots of, I must say). And, as if it was not enough, we have patchs. Argh! They r a pain in the ass. Because, to have a really good wow server we need them but, in most of cases, they r still under hard development. They r bugus and soon or later they causes instability to the server.
Well, my promess for our server is stability. If u r looking for a “first to have
But u have my word: I am aways researching and talking to people. I do my best contributing to the emulator community and they do the same, helping me to solve our problems, so, if we have a problem, we ll fix it.
Enough said, I hope u give us a try and bring ur friends to play with us!

We’ve just updated our vote system and now we have access to more than 5300 different equipments with our vote points.
We have all elite equipments from level 99 up to 244 that doesn’t compound a set and is not dependent of reputation (I suggest you to use a Database before choose your equip to certify it will fit to your char).
We surely will have still more equipments and other items as well, I just need suggestions =D

To connect to our server, you must edit your realmlist.wtf (<wow_installation_Dir>\Data\xx_YY\) with a text editor of your preference. Delete everything inside the file and then put:
set realmlist wowprivate.servegame.com
Save it and you’ll be ready to play.
